Displair: Consumer electronics software to become the flagship of innovations
Every year more and more technological startups are created in Russia, but consumers still don’t get robo-janitors or flying cars. What do Russian innovation companies work at and what will be the result in the nearest future?
In Russia in 2012 appeared more startups than in previous years, the first rankings and more places to hangout were created, some infrastructure was built. As for the quality, national spirit of any Russian business mirrors here, showing all the pros and cons.
– Most of the products belong to the IT sphere. These consume less financial resources, pays back faster and has higher potential from the marketing point of view, - Director of Marketing for Displair, Andrey Melnikov specifies.
According to Melnikov, the software field will be developing faster especially on the consumer market – this is the consequent result of the active expansion of mobile devices and emergence of several prospective software platforms.
– Another trend is the race to increase computation capacities of hardware with the simultaneous miniaturization of sizes. And the third sphere is the migration to the virtual and augmented reality, - informs Andrey Melnikov.
According to him, Displair exists across these spheres: it transfers content beyond monitors, at the same time interacting with mobile devices in a brand new way. The tendency for miniaturization will also relate to our product – this is the just the question of technological development.
